Okay, so after B2SR, I'm hooked. I just need to convince the wife that we "need" these parts...

sliders
skid plates
tires
bumer (possibly w/ winch)

I'm looking to get information and prices on this stuff. I would like to do sliders first because less damage to the actual vehicle.

I'm going to post this at xterafirma page too.

I dont' want to go nuts with prices but don't want to be too cheap either.

Thanks!

You know, after looking at your tires, they are not bad tires, so I would wait on them. Get sliders and go Shrockworks. IMHO Jim makes the best stuff and is great to deal with. After that, I would go with the bumper...get that huge piece of plastic that drags off the ground off your truck and it really gives the looks of: bad-ass, get out of my way. Again, go Shrockworks. Next, get skidplates...they give you great piece of mind when you hear that grinding, sqeaky, clanking noise. You don't stop and look, you just think, "I have skids!" and for someone to say, "somethings leaking out of your truck," before you have to stop.

Glad you had a good time!!!:)

Do you know if there is any difference from the 04's to the 05's? The 04's are a lot cheaper.

Also, I thought my tires were fine as well, never had any problems that no one else did. Just thought they would get me a few more inches off the ground.

Shrock says the the 'O5 sliders are actually a stronger mount than the previous one, which are impressive already.

They are probably longer, therefore, more steel, and they are a newer design, hence, the higher price. They are well worth the money. One rock, and they have paid for themselves.

Your wife will like them too.
