I posted this up on the 2nd gen site and figured I should post it here too.

My buddy Jeff (Rubicon) & I are headed out to the Otis/Blanford MA area. Planning on a 9 am start from East Granby, CT. If anyone cares to join us, we plan on being back by 2 or 3 in the afternoon. The trails are roughly 45 - 50 min from East Granby. We can meet up with Mass guys in West Granville or west of Blanford if that works better. It's your vehicle but I'd recommend at least a locker and factory skids.

Sounds like fun... what kind of trails are these? Would have come along, but have to drop folks off at the airport Sat.

Maybe I'll hit you up later for directions or maybe to be the trail guide :-)

We've been sworn to internet silence so actual names will not be posted, but they are legal public roads that have not been paved or maintained. Some of the bridges are usable others require go-a-rounds. We are still exploring them. Jeff has been out there the last three weekends, I joined him for one of the days. Wish they were closer but even the ride out is pretty.

Ended up kind of just Jeff & I. We did meet up with a crew from work on bikes, they were the ones who tipped us off to the trails. Luckily they were around to push me off a high centered whoops - glad I have the fab diff cover. I also came to a stop when trying to drive through a large puddle. that one I was able to back out of on my own - Picture below taken after forward momentum was lost:
