My very first 4Runner
bought it brand new in 1987 a 4cyl 5speed SR5
drove it off the car carrier myself...
pics. of mine next to a stock one in 1988
built my own 4 inch lift and running 36s
Off Roading down at Cape Cod in 1988
that water hole is known as (idiots hole).. :D yep I'm an idiot.
big drop off the water was over my hood in the middle
I ended up pulling 4 rigs out of there that decided to follow me.
later I installed a 350 v8 and auto trans at the end of that summer.
most of that 4runner's parts are still on mine and the big runner today
