I havent been on here in a bit so I figured I should show off the new bumper with tire carrier I fabricated myself. Plus I added a leaf due to my old leafs sagging plus I have been working on undercoating this baby.

Nice! So are you bringing that beauty down to Oneonta for the Back To School Run in September?

Very nice.
Get it to B2S so that we can see it in action.

Only 4 hours. I will be driving 3.3 hours north to attend.

Why not drive a little but to meet some great people and have an amazing time?

Nice

I've gotta do a little to the underside of my X at some point. Getting quite a bit of surface rust

I am gonna think about it. I just don't know if I want to drive my X which has 135K all that way....it most likely would make it but I would hate to have something on it break when I am 4 hours away from home.

If you are legitimately worried about something breaking then there is no better place to be than surrounded by Xterra experts who work on their trucks all the time and have the tools to fix them.

Just bought IAB, Stabilizer, HD TRAs, and HD TREs. Maybe I will go to B2S....just that is gonna make me 100X more confident of the toughness of my truck. The stock steering has always scared the shit out of me.

I've driven up to the B2S run on a couple of occassions from Long Island. 4+ hours each way.
DEFINITELY an awesome time with Great people.

We'd do it again this year but we have a little one now (he will be 3 months when the event happens)
A little too young for wheeling and camping. LOL

Nice bumper!!! congrats!
Distance can't be an issue!!! I traveled 7 hours to get to ECXC & will be traveling 4.5 hours to get to the B2S run.... I've always had a great time wheeling with the group + Steeve is sooo right.... if your X is going to breakdown - better it happens where people know how to fix it/have spare parts then when you're surrounded with Jeeps & have no spare parts!
