I will designate this to the photos & videos from yesterday's Shocker Run at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park.

There was about 2' feet of fresh, powder snow on the trails and it made going anywhere extremely difficult. We spilt into 3 groups, Green, Blue and Black, but because the conditions were so poor the hardest trails anyone was able to run was Blue and only 1 blue trail was passable. The day was most spent turning around, getting stuck and executing multiple recoveries. It was extremely stressful and frustrating, but also extremely unique, beautiful and a once in a lifetime wheeling experience.

Here are photos taken with my Canon Powershot SD1100 point and shoot. A lot of the shots are under exposed because of all the snow fooling the camera.

This would be the 1st of many "parking lot" situations during the day.

Some great shots, looks like a lot of fun.

Do I dare ask how Tom got himself into that situation? That's one big ol' drift!

This happened at the end of our day and we were all messing around in the comp area. All of that hill in the back is man made; dirt and rock that has been sprayed with cement. Very gripy. I?ve been through that section many times and was dropping off of that ledge very slowly hoping to ride the side of the snow drift with my driver side rubber along the gripy edge of the hill. The drop off was a bit more severe than I?d remembered. It was all fluffy snow so no chance of damage but I could not move forward. Dave just gave me a bit of help (thanks Dave) and I was out. Looks worse than it was.

Did not take many pictures, sorry. Here is what I got;

Once again, thanks Stephen for putting this together and to all for a fun day.
