Is anybody attending the Vermont Overland Rally this year? It's coming up at the end of the month (Sept 29 - Oct 2)

http://www.vermontoverland.com/vor/

It's my first time going so I'm not entirely sure what to expect, but it definitely looks like a good time. I'll be going up with my buddy in a lifted Subaru Forester so I might end up doing lots of recovery on the trails.

Here's a short video on the event:

I think Ripper/Will was planning on attending.

Lifted Subaru? What! Got any pics of said Subaru?

Sure, it's pretty cool but suffers from a lack of low range at times.

Nice. Wasn't expecting to see a winch on the front of it.

I had a buddy with a Suzuki suv stick that lacked 4low it was a killer on his clutch.
But the event looks like a lot of fun. Doubt I could make it this year. :/

I will be there again this year. The event is sold out so if you siding get tickets your best bet is to get on the waiting list or register early for next year

Loved it, camped up on the hill and nobody was up there. We ended up doing mostly greens and blues with a touch of red obstacles here and there. I definitely need some lift before doing anything else though, was banging the radiator skid on almost everything out there.

Was actually super impressed with the Forester too, was a beast even without the low range. Couldn't drive it through the field without someone stopping to say it was their favorite rig there haha.

here's a bad video of it tackling a red uphill bit.

Just registered for the 2017 VOR. Can't wait! Got a few upgrades planned between now and then to get to!

For anyone interested on attending, there are only about 40 spots left of the 175. So register soon.
