I'm planning on heading out to Orleans Mass. on the Cape for a mental health day. I have this years sticker and haven't had the chance to go out yet. It's been bugging me that I spent the money without using it. And besides that I was short changed on the run after the NEA4WD meeting. I'm shooting for Saturday February 20th but would consider Sunday the 21st instead if there was interest.

Unfortunately to drive on the beach you would need a 2015/2016 oversand sticker. I know this is a long shot, but I want to throw it out there anyway. I'm going either with company or without, but wheeling with friends is always more fun.

Since they allow driving between the low and high tide lines this time of year I would love to stick around for low tide. It looks like low tide is around 4:40 on Saturday with 45 for a high temp and 5:20 on Sunday with 41 for a high.

Just out out curiosity, how much are those permits? Last time I got one for Race Point (in 2004), it was $150!

They just raised their price for the current year. It was $196 for the full year. Their year runs from May 1st to April 30th.

They Drop their price in half in October. This is usually when I buy. I don't want to be hassled with the plover restrictions and I want to drive below the high tide line.(which is only from the first Friday in November until Memorial Day) Since I have last years sticker and it is the same vehicle, I don't need to go get inspected again. They just want to know its going on the same truck.

There is more info on the Orleans town web page, but this is the 'meat' of the info.
