Sorry for the short notice...

On Sunday morning, February 7th, 2016 a few of the guys from “718” will be picking up 4WD/Fishing permits for 2016.

Meeting @ 0730; Plumb Beach, Belt Pkwy, 11235

Depart @ 0800 sharp. Belt Pkwy, Southern State Pkwy and Meadowbrook State Pkwy South.

We should land at theBabylon
Headquarters Permit Office at Robert Moses State Park in Long Island
~0900 to purchase the “4 Wheel Beach Vehicle Fishing Permit” for 2016.

A limited amount of permits are sold.
Driver’s License and Vehicle Registration are required

All are welcome to take the ride or just meet up out at Robert Moses State Park.

After those permits are purchased (and maybe a short visit to the beach) we will be heading back to Brooklyn and The Ryan Visitor Center in Floyd Bennett Field to get the “4WD permit for Breezy Point” for 2016.

A limited amount of permits are sold.
Driver’s License and Vehicle Registration are required

You must present the following equipment at the time of permit registration; 7 foot (minimum) fishing pole, reel and tackle, shovel, recovery strap, jack, jack support board, tire pressure gauge, approved tires (33x12.5 or less) and spare, trash container (trash bag) and portable toilet (bucket).

Last years thread HERE.

Sounds like a fun day :D

Saturday the 6th or Sunday the 7th ?
I'll be at the NEA meeting on the 6th, the only reason it clicked in my head.

Take some 718 pics. for us and those causeways look cool on Google.
