If your rig is stock, it'll be a half day run @ Summit. Done before lunch usually depending on trail conditions.
If you are running moderates/hard (skids, sliders, moderate lift & the willingness to potentially hear the skids/sliders scrape some rock ledges), you'll be running MaBell in the afternoon.

Regardless of skill or experience, you will never be made to feel foolish or uncomfortable by this group. That's the main reason I hang around & proudly call this my club. :-)

Oh I know. This club is very welcoming which is why Vicki and I like wheelin' with you guys and gals. I've run Rausch with some Toyota guys that, what's the wording... Not as warmly welcoming as this club.

Looking foward to MaBell in June.

As for May, the 16th is now the only weekend. Truck goes to the shop on April 25th for ARB installs and I'll pick it up (hopefully) that next weekend May 2nd.

And we won't quit until you're feeling foolish and uncomfortable.

Is that a legal trail?

Unless it is proved to be legal we recommend you do not run it. Call the city & find out if in doubt. Tread Lightly folks.

We want to be responsible wheeler & not contribute in any way to the negative image that's already out there.

Will, What do you hear on trail conditions? Mid last week we were told by our Bike Buddies that the trails we run out in the Otis direction still have a foot of slushy ice/snow on them. They certainly will be wet and very muddy for a while. Once they get semi-decent, Jeff (JAC04) & I will be hitting them at least every other week. I hope to pick your brains on other trails out that way, better yet, join us again, and show them to us.

We will be posting up when we go, for anyone who wants to join us, although I wouldn't call these trails exactly stock friendly. Parts of them are and I would be interested in putting together a stock friendly introduction to wheeling day RE: http://www.nexterra.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=8220 either in the Otis area or if the club wants to sponsor we could get the Gremlin and maybe even set up a grill at the trail head. Of course that would add a land use fee but maybe closer for guys coming down from the northeast.

Scott

Scott, I was up in that area last night (Middlefield) there wasn't a ton of snow, but the trails were real soft.

I missed the April fools run. I have nice new tires now!! (Cooper discoverer AT3) I'm all for trying them out and getting them dirty!
I love the BBQ idea too!! I just need as much advanced notice as possible.

I will be in the woods that day pulling out tons of old tires
