The easiest way for forum tracking is to click on active topics or new posts link. You rarely miss anything that you have not seen.

In TapaTalk there is an Unread messages tab too. Makes it easy.

Created a new thread in the Supporting Members section for the discussion on Facebook. I've cleaned up this thread by deleted the posts relating to Facebook & editing some others.
Please feel free to join in on the Facebook conversation in the new thread. Lets keep this one related to the run.

Man I wished the Gates were open...
It would have been fun going down those trails too.

And walk over to the ledge!! We might have actually seen the ghost that's rumored to run up & down that vertical rock face.

I was a little disappointed that the ledge was gated. Im guessing if it wasn't closed off we would have been there at least another hour. (Not that that is a bad thing) This run definitely gave me more confidence in deep onroad snow driving.

Yeah unfortunately , anything over a couple inches they gate it off.
and it will stay that way for quite awhile :( :( :(
they don't want anyone in there when emergency vehicles can't get in.
or the P/U they patrol with can't get in there.
$500.00 fine for going around any of the gates.
luckily the main roads are open year round regardless of the weather.
