Robert Moses 4X4 Beach Permit Run

On Sunday morning, January 4th, 2015 a few of the guys from “718” will be driving out to the Babylon Headquarters Permit Office at Montauk Downs, Robert Moses State Park in Long Island to purchase the “4 Wheel Beach Vehicle Fishing Permit” for 2015.
This permit allows access to designated beach areas listed below for the purpose of fishing only.
It is valid for; Hither Hills (Year round), Montauk Point (Year round), Napeague (Year round), Robert Moses (Democrat Point, Sore Thumb and Gilgo) from April 1 thru December 31.

A limited amount of permits are sold from January 1 thru April 30.
Driver’s License and Vehicle Registration are required
NYS Vehicle Registration $65
Out of State Vehicle Registration $110

All are welcome to take the ride or just meet up out at Robert Moses State Park to hang for a bit or maybe grab some lunch locally. Time and place of launch from Brooklyn will be posted here soon.

Yeah right. "A limited amount of permits are sold...". If you don't get the early there is a chance you'll be shut out.

I bought that two years ago. Nice beaches. I usually get the suffolk county beach pass. I don't need a fishing pole and the police don't hassle me as much. Have a great time

what park are you guys going to? Babylon HQ is exit 38 off the southern state, Robert Moses park is south at the end of robert moses causeway, and hither hills and montauk downs is all the way out in Montauk. Im already in Babylon and would like to meet up with you.
