Anyone interested in doing some camping and wheeling Labor Day weekend? A group of us will be camping up in the Northwestern MA area and doing some wheeling.

The plan is that we will be heading up to Clarksburg State Forest in Clarksburg MA on Saturday Morning Aug 30th. Set up our sites, cook food and swap stories. Sunday Aug 31, we will head out in the AM and hit the trails. After wheeling head back to camp and grill some more, swap stories from the day and enjoy some adult beverages. Monday Sep 1, pack up and head home or head off and explore the area. You are not required to go wheeling to attend this. You're more than welcome to come up and camp, ride along with others if there are any open seats or head out on your own adventure.

You will be responsible for your own reservations and food. Each campsite has a picnic table and a firepit. There are bathrooms/showers and designated areas to wash all cookware.

I'm thinking Sunday once we are back to the campground after wheeling we can do a group meal where everyone cooks or prepares something.

Fees, $12.00 a night for MA residents, $14.00 a night for Non Residents.

Disclaimer: The trails in the area can be pretty rough and are not stock friendly in any way! I highly suggest that at minimum you have sliders, skids, lift and 33" ATs. Mandatory are front and rear recovery points, and a recovery strap. There is no way around this!

So if your interested please post up any ideas or let me know if you're coming.

Well if anyone is on the fence, we have an open site that allows two more tents and two vehicles. The site is paid for for the weekend and will go to waste of no one uses it. Let me know
