Hey guys and girls, I wanted to see if anybody was up for some runs in the next month or two. I would love to get some people together to hit Rausch a few times and do some wheeling, camping, etc.

I'm located in southwestern ct near Westchester county ny. If anyone is up for it, let me know!

Eric

I'm an hour from RC, I can go just about any weekend. Whatever works for you. Plan on camping at RC or Twin Grove?

I too can go, there is also an FJ Crusier event at rausch which allows for other vehicles to go wheeling. Its May 16-18th.

Great! I usually camp at RC. Is there still a ban on campfires, etc goin on down that way? Early May should work for me. Is that fj event a comp or just a gathering/wheeling weekend? Gonna check the schedule and we can make a plan! What's the minimum number of trucks for RC? I haven't been in a while. Used to be 3 if I remember correctly.

RC requires a minimum of 2 trucks.

RC still has a fire ban but I don't remember when it ends. I thought early may. Twin grove is in a different county and exempt anyway because it is a campground.

The FJ run is just an organized run and they are Xterra friendly. To get in on the raffle and dinner it is $70 which doesn't included Rausch. It looks like fun though. Apparently their raffle is pretty generic because Jeeps, Land Cruisers, Tacos and others show up. The raffle and diner are at twin grove. I paid for the FJ thing but If there a few of us that want to run a blue group I am more then willing jump in that. I will probably still do the dinner and raffle though.....

May 3/4 works for me also. Burn ban ends on May 4 at noon. I think you have to let them know if you plan on camping.

May 10/11 going on a kayak fishing trip on the Shenandoah if you are interested Keith.

I'm doing the FJ run, just not doing the dinner and raffle, so it's only $50.
