Okay, let's see which date we will be hitting up Whispering Pines Hideaway in Lyons, NY.

Fee: $25 per vehicle (includes driver), $10 for each addt'l passenger. (fee is flexible depending on number of vehicles attending)

Food: Could be provided, by us or by them.....probably easier if every body brown bag's it for this one being the first time. This has potential, because of venue, to become an event or normal outing if everyone is pleased with the trails.....so keep that in mind.

I'd like to see us put together a good number of vehicles so if both dates work for you, just let me know that. Sounds like all vehicles should be included in this one......from heavily mod'd down to bone stock.

I need to let the good people at Whispering Pines know which date we're picking by the 14th of June.....that's Wednesday. There is an event there on the 8th of July....that's why that date has been left out, so pick one of the other weekends in July before ECXC. And don't forget to post up with which date you picked and whether or not you're definaely attending....that way I can provide them with an approximate number of vehicles for the day!!

I didn't vote, but either day should be fine for me, or both.

Charlie said there is no minimum #of trucks needed...so Anthony, even if you wanted to go the 1st & or the 15th, at least you and I, or any others could do that as well.

Good point Erik. It looks like we can at least get some people there for the 15th tho.

We could conceivably do both the 1st and the 15th. People who can't go to one, go to the other. Some people maybe do both.

ok, like I said, I'm open for either or both, but I decided to vote for the 1st as well. It would just work out better for me, and allow more time before ecxc. If you guys are interested and have gps, we could map out some of the trails for ourselves on the 1st to be used on the 15th, or whenever.

Can't make either date...but I would've love to go at some later time if the opportunity presents itself.

That's cool with me....if some guys want to run there on the 1st and then get another group to go on the 15th. I'll just have to find a way to present that to Charlie....although, I'm sure he's not going to care. There's nothing scheduled at Whispering Pines for either date...so running the trucks won't be a big deal for them.

So, with that said:

Edit: the 15th: 6

Erik, Anthony, Micah, Scott, Myself, and RMD0311 (sorry, don't know your name! ), and .......

This is what I will tell them at Whispering Pines to expect. I will let them know, though, that there may be a couple going out on the 1st.....and that you will get in contact with them for a definite.

For me, it depends on what I get done to the truck before ECXC. Right now, the truck is still in the garage on jack stands.

I called and left messages with Charlie and his help. I let them know that we're most likely looking at coming out the 15th with about 6-8 trucks.

Now we just need to decide on a few things:

When and Where we meet: AM sometime and it really depends on how people are going to get to Geneva. Geneva is exit 42 on the Thruway, and Whispering Pines isn't that far north of the Thruway on Rt. 14.....there's a Mobil Station right off the Thruway also...so that's a possibility. Not sure what time everyone wants to get around.

Lunch: Should we plan on stopping for lunch? There are two trails. Get there early enough, we could hit one....stop for lunch, then hit the other and call it a day. I could put something together for a small fee from everyone....or I could explore the option of having Whispering Pines set something up. The times that I've shot sporting clays out there...they've had a wagon set up with hots, burgers, and sausage, soda's, water.....so that might be an option. Or we could 'bag' that stuff and brown bag it and eat on the trail.

Let's hear it......whadd'ya guys want?
