Keith and I will be checking out some trails in Richford, NY this Friday (which is Good Friday).

From what I have seen on a few exploratory runs, the trails are not real hard, but there is a lot of mud. Of course..I have not checked out much of the area yet, so there could be some good trails around. I know that the Syracuse Jeep club runs here a lot.

So..if you are interested let me know.

I still have to see. I may be able to make it.

Richford, NY, birthplace of JD Rockefeller.

"Later Mrs. Rockefeller and the children resided tfiree miles east of Owego village"

how many miles in a tfiree? is that about a linear acre or so?

Yeesh, look at all the spelling mistakes in the title alone!

"Bois of men form Richford, NY
FROM OUR COUNTY AND ITS PEOPLE
A MEMORIAL HISOTRY OF TIOGA COUNTY "

I'm glad I didn't take the time to read the whole page.

No way it is that far. I am about 5 1/2 hours to niagara falls on the Canadian side. That means it is probably only 3 hours for you. Of course I have no idea where you live, but i think it is close to buffalo.

I went out and explored this area tonight with Karen (aka Paddles), a fellow X driver from here. (she promised she would post here tonight.. :D)

Anyhow, it was lots of fun and I got my truck the muddiest its ever been. I'm talking Jeff in long island muddy :D Of course...I forgot my camera, so you will have to take my word for it. I'll be sure to bring it on Friday.

Most of the area is pretty wide open. Lots of mud holes and big puddles, but there were countless side trails shooting off in every direction. We went on a few trails that were challenging.

I'm thinking it would be a great location for a beginners / stock run.
