The February meeting has been rescheduled. Please note it will now take place during or immediately following the February 18th trail ride. If the weather is nice, we'll do it there. If not, we'll pile into my house in South Glens Falls.

MEETING/TRAIL RIDE IS FEBRUARY 18th starting at 9am. Meet at the Warrensburg McDonald's parking lot off exit 23 of the Northway (left at the off ramp, right at the light).

This is a run about 20 minutes north of me. At this point I think I'm going unless something comes up.

Pine Barrens is on Sunday only. 1 day event on Sunday 1/19, which also happens to be the Daytona 500 for those NASCAR fans in us.

What is the difficulty of this trail?

Is this South Glenns Falls NY?

How difficult are these trails?

Is it open to us newbies?

Can someoe get me an Address so I can mapquest it and get an idea of how far of a drive ( I am thinking like 4 hours).

Just put in Warrensburg, NY.

It got 1 hour, 53 minutes from Burlington to Warrensburg on Mappoint.com. So..your closer then you thought!

Glenn Falls is about 30-40 minutes North of Albany if there is no traffic. There is always a ton of troopers until you get past Lake George.

Have you ordered sliders yet? Probably the best and cheapest protection for your X.

I know there is a best western in Lake George. Stayed there once and it was pretty nice. There are a ton of hotels in Lake George, but they are usually stay at your own risk.

No sliders yet, I am waiting on the group buy, are these needed for this ride?

my guess is that you would be fine without sliders on a power line trail. just based on other powerline trails i've been on.

You should be okay for this run. Besides, if it gets bad, we can always go back and do our own stuff. :)

Were you looking to stay Saturday night or Friday night?
