ExploringNH 2022 Anniversary Run

Summary:
The ExploringNH Anniversary Run is our annual kickoff to the off-roading season, as mud season road closures come to an end. This year’s anniversary run will be held in southern NH and will be a single day event with camping available for anyone who wants to stay Saturday night after the trail rides. The meeting location is my personal property in Mont Vernon, NH, which is also where the camping will take place. Please be courteous and respectful of the property and neighbors. If you have any questions while registering, please ask. Thanks!

Date:
Saturday July 9th, 2022

Time:
-8:00 am Arrival (line up, air down, be ready for the trails)
-9:00 am Drivers meeting, before heading to the trails.

Meeting Location:
-The address will be provided to you prior to the event via Private Message on ENH.
-The meeting location will be behind the barn which is to the left side of the house, we will have a sign at the pull-in.

Lunch:
Lunch will be eaten on trail, pack any food or drink you need for the day.

Camping (Different from past years):
We will have camping available on site Saturday night to any registered members who want to stay. There will be one communal fire pit while camping, please do not light little fires around the property as the fire permit does not cover them. Camping is rustic so bring your own supplies. If you have an overland/camping trailer it can be left at the property during the day Saturday. Unlike prior years we are not catering a meal, so for those staying, feel free to setup your own camp stoves to cook dinner, you can BYOB, but please be smart and no driving after drinking. I will have my BBQ grill on site if anyone brings something and doesn’t have a way to cook. There is no rush to leave Sunday morning, so if you want to make breakfast before departing that is ok as well.

Facilities:
There will be a porta-potty on site for the weekend. When on trail, you are on your own.

Trail Difficulty:
-Stock to Moderate. We will be on unmaintained Class 6 roads throughout NH.
-You will select your preferred difficulty while registering.

Vehicle Requirements & Rules:
-We will follow the ExploringNH required equipment list (LINK).
-Stock = Any capable vehicle with true 4WD. At a minimum you must have front and rear tow points and the ENH required equipment. General trail rating 1-3.
-Moderate = We recommend a lift, 32"+ tires, rock rails, skid plates, winch, etc., plus prior off-road driving experience. General trail rating 1-5.
-As with any run, even a moderate class group will travel on some stock trails, to get to harder trails.
-NO alcohol is allowed on the trail rides, only for people camping and after your vehicle is parked.
-Drivers must be current members of ExploringNH. If you are a member of this forum, you are good. Do not invite people who are not members.
-We will be traveling on paved roads between Class 6 trails, your vehicle must be registered and road worthy.
-You are responsible for your vehicle and belongings. Organizers, leaders and helpers are volunteers that are here to aid you, but ultimately you know the capability of your vehicle and your driving skills. Please make smart choices. We want everyone to have an enjoyable time.

Event Entry Information:
-We have limited the event to 40 drivers + leaders and staff, based on what the property can handle.
-The current plan is to have 4 total groups, 2 stock class and 2-3 moderate class. This may be modified based on signups.
-You will select your difficulty class during registration, but you do not get to pick which stock or moderate group you are in until you arrive at the event, it is first come first choice in the lineups.

Registration Cost:
-$30 per driver which includes the guided trail run, an event sticker, refreshments at the property, and camping on site Saturday night if you wish.
-$10 per passenger.
-When registering please complete a waiver for every driver and passenger, via the waiver link.
-If you do not pre-register, please do not show up on the day of the event. Space is limited.
