Hi Guys. I signed up with Mohawk 4x4 Adventures. They're hosting a run at Sawmill on 4/18. Technically you're supposed to be a member, but if you message them and ask for a trial run, I'm sure they'd let you in (club president said so...)

Anyone ever run Sawmill? What's it like?

This is what I see for a description on the NEA forum. I can’t remember much of this property as it’s been closed for a few years & just opened up. If you’ve been to Brookridge, I expect it’ll be about the same. Definitely not like 508Intl. Either way, it’ll be fun. Check with Mohawk if in doubt.

“Trail rating:
The trails are rated green/blue but a few black obstacles are available. Due to the narrow winding nature of these trails full-size vehicles are not recommended. Body damage is possible. Trails are one-way as shown on the map and well marked. Just enter the property where shown on the map and follow the arrows and you should be all set.â€

Look what I found for you....we ran part of this property back in 2016 as a modified supporting members run. There’s some good info & even pics in it.

And the damage I took was all self inflicted, driving like an idiot & totally avoidable if I’d waited for a spotter.

I remember that run! I ran it in the Frontier. I got my first body damage ever! It made me sad and I left early! Hahaha!

Can’t until I’m fully vaccinated. MA doesn’t like out of staters. I get my second shot Monday, 2wks after that travel is possible.

Nervous is good, usually keeps me from doing complete idiotic things.

Damage is always possible with the more challenging trails & the longer you wheel. As long as you have full skids, sliders, good tires & a decent lift, some common sense, chances of having catastrophic damage should be low. Don’t be hesitant to ask for a spot. Any good off-roader will be willing to help.

Go out & have fun. Let us know how it was.

Yeah, that's the place where the guy from the "EPA" or whatever was threatening us before we even started. Some tough spots in that swampy area.

I did not make it. Kinda puts a damper on things when the rig won't start.
