Not looking for company or nutin', just a heads up...

On Sunday morning, February 2nd, 2020 I hope to pick up a Breezy Point Tip Off Road Permit for 2020.

I’m meeting Misha at the Ryan Visitor Center - Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn @ 0800.The office opens at 0900.

A 4-wheel drive vehicle is required. The Off Road Permit is valid anywhere in the park where the fishing/parking permit is honored.

Permits are $50.

The operator must present the following equipment at the time of purchase and carry each item at all times when driving off road at the Breezy Point Tip:
• 7-foot (minimum) fishing pole
• reel and tackle
• shovel
• tow chain or rope
• jack
• jack support board
• tire pressure gauge
• appropriate spare tire
• trash container
• portable toilet

Afterwards we plan to head out to the Babylon Headquarters Permit Office at Robert Moses State Park in Long Island to purchase a Long Island State Park 4 Wheel Beach Vehicle Fishing Permits for 2020 Season.
A limited amount of permits are sold.
Requirements:

Permit is ONLY valid for fishing at:
    Hither Hills (Year round)
    Montauk Point (Year round)
    Napeague (Year round)
Robert Moses (Democrat Point and Sore Thumb) April 1 - December 31, hours vary

Like I said, just a heads up.

On average, how often do you get out there and take advantage of the permit?

I wish NJ was this cheap. I thinks it's up to $275 for out of state for Island Beach.

Last year I went once. Every year I don't get them I regret. I used to go often, 5 or 6 times to each place.
Last year I was out near Montauk without my truck and was pissed. This year I'm hoping to get out more...we'll see.
