In the past, we have joined up with clubs on their Toys for Tots runs. After talking with other club members on our recent Halloween Run, I decided that we should have our own run!

Please feel free to bring your family and friends! This a time of year we should all be taking the time out to spend with family and friends. And since it's a stocker run, it will be safer for all to join in the fun!

Nexterra's Toys For Tots Run 2013

When: Saturday, December 7

Meeting Time: 8:30 AM, leaving for the trails sharp at 9:30 AM.

Meeting Location:
McDonald's
286 Winthrop St.
Taunton, MA

Wheeling Location: Taunton and Freetown

Fee: A new, unwrapped toy

Waivers: All attendees (drivers & passengers) must sign a Nexterra waiver. Please print it out, sign it, and bring it with you the day of the event.

Details:
The run will be held on trails in Taunton and Freetown. The trails are stock friendly.

There are no shirts and decals for this event.

Also considering raffling off a Lego version of your truck! Proceeds will buy another toy for the pile. Let me figure out how to get it done.

Im in.
Where will we be donating the toys? I think it would be cool if we all convoy to the drop point and donate. Make it known that NEXterra was there. I know in Framingham (at least in years past) the Marine's do a big 'event' at shoppers world to collect.

Last time I went on this run, the meeting point was in fact a (small) Toys for Tots collection area, marines and all. We had near forty rigs between the two clubs.

Well, it's not like we can legally produce merchandise with the Toys for Tots logo on it.

This run isn't about shirts and decals. It's about coming together and helping others out during this holiday season.

And I'm sure we'll all have a little fun doing it. :)

Only 5 people signed up for this run? Come on, everyone! Sign up!! We'll even allow Jeep owners to join, too (yes, that's a dig on Suresh). :D

Maybe with a little luck we'll have some snow for this run!
