Looks like we will have good weather for the night run. 8)
Chilly 40- 50 deg. with a clear sky.
trails may be a little wet from earlier rain on thurs or fri, night.
the hills should be OK, I'll be watching the weather over the week.

Dress accordingly, I would suggest boots and bring your flashlights.

If I don't buy my new lights & install by then, I'll have to use a flashlight. Maybe I'll borrow one of Mike's gazillion lumens flashlight that turn night into the virtual surface of the sun.. that should fix the problem!

The headlights on the JK suck. Adding to it, you apparently can't use the factory fog light wiring for any lights over 25w!! So, I might be doing some desperate wiring Sat afternoon prior to the run. The guys who've seen my wiring better not make any funny comments.... it might not be pretty, but it's usually functional :D

I doubt I'll have my 4WD fixed by then, so I can ride along with you and bring one of my flashlights with me.

And the brightest flashlight I have is only 960 lumens at max.

...and I think if you try to use the stock fog light wiring to simply trip a relay, the computer sees way less than 25W and thinks something is wrong... Rotten JK!!

Nic, just
Have him register on Nexterra first with a user name,
all GG attendees must be registered members of the Club

Then they can just register/ sign up for the run.

make sure to bring signed waivers for all attending.

So what hotel did everyone decide on? FYI I'm using my hotel points and it will basically be free. If a bed is needed let me know and I will get two queens. Just bring me a good six pack.

For my points though it has to be either the econo or comfort as mentioned before. So hopefully everyone is staying at one or the other.

I had a death in the family and need to leave for Canada tomorrow morning (have to vote first!!) I will basically swim (or wheel) through hell and high water to make this run, but there IS a 25% chance that the path might not be stocker friendly...I'll let you know as the week goes on...
