Well, how was it? If yours is as rusty as mine, how many bolts did you have to cut?

Didn't go too bad with the brakes. I ran into an issue with the cv shaft nut,I read somewhere that a 1-1/4" socket would fit, so I borrowed one from my neighbor. It didn't work so I googled the socket size and came up with 32mm. Mine ended up being 36mm. Not sure if that is stock or not because I ended up losing my original one in traffic somewhere.(its a long story). So that was two trips to autozone. The hub was rusted in place, so i removed the whole spindle and brought it to my buddys shop to use his press to pop it out. All of the bolts came out in one piece, but a couple needed a 3 foot pipe on my breaker bar to get started. All said and done, I started around 9:30am and was cleaned up driving around the neighborhood at a little after 7pm seating the brake pads. Once the hub was in my hand I spun the bearing. It sounded just like a pepper mill. I doubt it had 10k miles on it. It was just replaced at the dealer under my extended warranty

Looked like a sucessful day, i really need to start learning how to replace these things on my truck. Have never replaced anything in the front end by myself, i'm going to be hoping to use one of somebodys mod day to learn and also become more experienced
