Do you need a coil spring compressor to do this?

Only if the coilovers aren't pre-assembled. If they are you won't need one.

I’ve read the instructions and it seems fairly easy. I’m sure 718 could handle the installation and have the “basic hand tools plus a hacksaw or Sawzall” but I have never worked on a 2Gen before. If it was my truck or a truck belonging to any of the 718 crew I’d go ahead and do it (can’t be any harder than swapping transmissions) but it’s not and I’d feel really bad if I F’d up your truck.
If you decide to throw caution to the wind and have us try and install it I’ll try to be there. It would be all on you.
I don’t think the AutoZone parking lot among crack heads and thieves is the place…especially if we F up…up to you bro.

When you say;

1. What and where is your place; a garage, driveway or on the street and will there be pizza and Heinekens there?
2. Should I assume you don’t have the tools, don’t know how and therefore need a bit more than help?
3. What year is your truck?
4. Did you “go over your specific needs to determine the proper length rear shocks and front spring rate/coilover tuning” with PGR as they request?
5. Do you have or do they supply the tool (spanner wrench) for tuning the front spring rate/coilover?
6. Did you purchase the alignment cams?
7. Did you purchase new, longer u-bolts for the rear spring pack?
8. Do you have a few cans of PB Blaster and willing/know how to spray down the blots we’ll need to attack the day before?

Front should be jacking it up taking tires off. Undo sway bar ,undo spindle, take shock out, bolt spacer on, put it back in, bolt it in, bolt spindle and then bolt up sway bar. Really not bad at all if it's only a 2 inch lift. Back is the same as first gen pretty much. You guys could do that completely hammered and sleeping with no issues. Lol
