you know... I think that would be a cool effort for a mod day since there are a few of us that have wanted to give that a shot, but would like to see how it's done and what's needed.

So, sure... I'd say that's worth adding to the list.

I jacked up the front to see if it was a ball joint....no movement. Then I noticed a weight missing from the wheel so hopefully that's the culprit. I'll find out Thursday when I go to Towne Fair and then get inspected on Friday. I disconnected the battery over the weekend...50 miles later the light is still off. So unless something comes up I'll be there, I need a hand with the torsion bar. If there's time I'll do my skids but I can do that anytime so I can give someone a hand if needed.

Well, I went to Towne Fair...they told me that because of the size and the fact that they are MT's they are hard to balance and they will balance them the best they can but, if they can't...they recommended sandbags. They use sandbags to balance the tires are semi's etc. Why? Because it's $20/wheel....I told them to just do their best and I'm sure it will be fine. haha It is. Then, got the truck inspected, computer wasn't ready yet. Even after 117 miles since I cleared the code, it wasn't ready. So, unless the woman is home (which I doubt she will, friggin drama BS!) I'll be there.

Sand bags = Egual I've used it in my Yellow X for years.

They are correct. Large, big lugged tires do not stay in balance for long. It's what they use in tractor trailer tires all the time. It's dynamic balancing.

Sorry about the confusion.
As for running wires and setting things up, that'd be a cool project.

I'll be coming to do a snorkel install and change out my alternator and help out where I can. Svendog what time are you looking to have things started and finished up by? Wouldn't want to be knocking on your door waking you up too early. (Being as I'm such an early  riser  )

ETA: please add me to the list of hoodies that is being sent to the mod day.

20th or 21st?

20th: I'm working, won't be out until 10pm
21st: I'll be there and would like to re-index torsion bar, maybe do front brake pads.

I ordered a Sweatshirt.

Eric
