I'm going to be a last minute pain in the ass, sorry. I should know by Friday what the "Boss" has planned. I need to swap out the bolt on my driver's side torsion bar, I can do the gas tank skid at home anytime.

Correction everyone...
I have basketball practice until about 10a...

So, be there by 10a or so as I'll be right down the street.

It's supposed to be 42 and we may be doing a fair amount of work outside, so dress warmly.

I'm not going to be able to make it. Unfortunately a Family thing popped up on Sunday, and I was planning on using that day to write my paper - I need one of these weekend days to get it completed

It's not looking good for me for tomorrow....I've spent the last couple hours looking into a toilet. Puking is so much fun.

ok.. Donald, Nick and Will just left and it was a fairly successful day. Donald has a snorkle and replacement alternator, Nick didn't get as much done as he would have liked, but he's in better shape leaving than when he arrived. Will now has a diff breather in place and should be good on that front going forward.

Ernie, I left you a voicemail as I told Nick that he needs to go see you to address some critical items that I just couldn't do with the tools that I have here. Specifically, his driver's side torsion bar is too far in the adjustor and could be further in the anchor. We were able to get it into a better position than when he arrived, but it needs to be banged out from the adjustor toward the front of the truck so that it can be better setup overall.

For everyone else.. to outline how bad his truck was out of whack, the passenger side was 39" from ground to fender and the driver's side was just over 37". The adjustor on the passenger side was cranked all the way and the adjustor on the driver's side is too far forward and was just about level with the frame rail. So, not only were the t-bars not installed properly, they weren't even installed at the same angle.

On top of all of that, his body lift also has a couple of items that need to be addressed. Specifically, the two center bolts on either side are both too long, not the ones that came with the kit and were not only loose, but even if they had been locked down all the way, they would still be able to move up and down because the threads weren't long enough to allow the nut to get high enough to bind the body at that location. So, basically, they were there for looks and to keep the pucks from moving.. they didn't secure anything.

I'll post up the pictures that I took, but Donald's truck looks good and Nick's suspension is now even and he shouldn't be binding up those CVs any longer.

Frankly, the dude that installed his SL should at least pay for the 7 CVs that Nick's gone through as well as what it's going to cost him to get that t-bar adjustor moved back so that everything's as it should be.

You couldn't just un-load the front and bang out the T-bar with a drift?

Tried that (many times) and the anchor end easily popped out, but the adjustor end was pretty well embedded in there.
