Gonna be doing my SAS starting Friday 5/22 and the following five days in Georgetown, MA. Hoping to have at least a rolling chassis at the end of the 5 days.

Anyone is welcome to come and hang out or lend a hand.

Let me know and I will PM an address.

Dave, where's Georgetown?

Ernie, that SAS'd X is owned by a guy with the screen name "BoonDox" over on thenewx. It's the third SAS'd next gen, however, I believe he had some issues with it, what exactly, I can't remember. The first two SAS'd trucks were done by All Phase Offroad, but this one was done by the guy himself. Maybe Dave, Bobby or Steve can shed some more light on it.

The plan is a 3 link in the front and a spring over in the rear. I still have to get some of my tools, tires and parts all down there but it's a definite for that weekend.

Georgetown is near Newburyport and Danvers. I usually get there off of 495 and go through Andover.

Boondox's SASed II Gen was a total DIY home job. He spent almost a year doing it in his driveway. I actually think he got the truck repo'ed shortly after too.

Now that would be a shame.. Why the hell would you spend that time and money to get it repo'ed??

Well, it got repo'ed because he wasn't making payments! He resolved the issue and got his truck back that very same week.

Yeah, and he's since had to re-do it as well; he broke one of the links on the front axle due to them being under-sized. Not quite sure of his current situation, but last I knew he had the X parked in his father's barn awaiting new parts.

He took this project on without any knowledge of suspensions or axle swaps. Not something I'd recommend unless you've done the proper research.
