I take it these-
(2) 12mm x 180mm x 1.25" bolts (rear of truck by bumper going up)
(2) 10mm x 160mm x 1.25" bolts (2nd to last body mount toward the rear bumper) are the bolts that are supposedly hard to find?

I've never done any yet..

Nah J/K

I've done two or three 1st gens. and 2 2nd gens.. And Don's done a few as well..

Just make sure you bring everything and have the instructions.. ;)

I figure we'll start off with removing the rear two bolts seeing they're the worst and the trouble makers.

You're with a good group on this..
Like Gene said, tackle the ones in back first as those are going to be the ones that can make or break the deal.

If those work, then the rest should be relatively straightforward.

I remember reading about Jeff's two rear bolts. Did he ever get to finish the lift?
Just sprayed everyhting again, top and bottom. Can #2 should be dead by tomorrow. :-) Going to try to head to the hardware store tonight, if not tomorrow after work. I printed out the directiosn from 4x4parts.com, added some notes from posts about problems people had or things they noticed when they did their lift.

The main thing we will need is a pinch seam block. Anyone got a 4x4 piece of wood about 6 inches long? Worse case scenario a couple pieces of 2x4 and nails or wood screws. I am assuming there will be a jack there.

( 8 ) 1/2" washers
(2) 12mm x 180mm x 1.25" bolts (rear of truck by bumper going up) (check)
(2) 10mm x 160mm x 1.25" bolts (2nd to last body mount toward the rear bumper) (check)

(6) 6" x 7/16" x 14mm bolts (the other 6 body mounts of the truck)

(2)- 5/8"o.d. x 2" long (driveshaft safety loops spacers) (check(plumbing nipples))

Home Depot didn't have them (the bold item), the guy helping me said they were uncommon and could be hard to find. Any ideas? Did you guys have a hard time finding these? I'm going to check more local hardware stores tomorrow.

Eric try www.fastenal.com and see if they have them..
They seem to have them online. Call and see if they have them in store..

You can also call a local place towards me.. They've always had alot of odd ball bolts that I've needed..
