If you guys had to rate the trails in GG the same way the trails in RC are rated what difficulty would they be? Contemplating this run. Never been to GG it's about half an hour closer to me than RC

Of the trails we normally run, i'd say green with about 15-20% blue-black offshoots/obstacles. There are some new trails that we haven't run that are, from what I've heard, black-red types.

Agreed. If you stay 100% on the trail you can get through stock as long as you watch out for the stumps.

Can someone provide a link to a thread or tips for stuff I can expect for this event?
Example: I know I'm supposed to air down my tires, but air down to what?
- Also items that I should make sure I have for a GROUP run?

Thanks!!

In general, your tires will always get aired down. Listen to your trail leader because how much will depend on the conditions that day. I've done GG fully inflated, at 25 psi, and as low as 17.

Any recovery/safety gear you have (straps, shovels, even gloves) will be good to have. Likely that others in your group will have them, but if you can pitch in, it beats having someone running to the back of the convoy for one thing when you have one in the middle. If you have nothing, stay close to someone who does.

Thanks, awesome info....So I really have to take off the stock steps....sigh. I dont have CB, will a hand held suffice.

Sorry in advance if these are redundant questions.

A hand held cb should suffice for this trip.

My 2cents - definitely remove your stock rails & mud flaps, they are most likely to cause damage.

Don't worry about a CB, it's nice to have so you aren't left out of any guidance or banter. Just let you trail leader know that you don't have a CB & any other relevant info (like wheeling experience) so he/she know how much of an eye to keep on you.

Honestly if someone gets stuck in the "ponds" at the powerlines I am putting on a rain jacket, breaking out some hand warmers and finding a tree I can hide behind.

Those attending the GG run and coming from Western MA or Northern CT that will taking the Pike, if you want we can meet up at the Ludlow plaza at 0830 if you want. I should have at least two other trucks with me.

Hey guys, I'm considering going to the MA run, I just have one question: I have pretty much everything but "real" skids, i only have the shrock radiator skid because of my bumper and the stock PRO4X skids. Would I be ok for the Gremlin Graveyard Run?
