Yes I agree they can be very dangerous. Last year I saw someone go under their truck to check their steering for damage while it was up on a high-lift, I almost had a heart attack. I said that I didn?t think it was a good idea but was ignored. Nothing bad happened so the guy will, most likely, keep doing it.
When I ?chimed in? and we used my hi-lift to lift Jeff?s truck it would not let us lower the truck back down without the help of a screwdriver to release one of the pins.

One time I forgot to take it off the roof before going to the car wash after wheeling. One of the rags got caught up in it and it ripped the roof rack off the truck before they had time to stop the line. It had to be untangled before they finally got my truck out. I was real popular that day.
Unless you have OBA I think you?re supposed to fill that bag using your exhaust, man that would take forever, someone would volunteer their hi-lift before you finished. I use a floor Jack and Jack stands at home but in the woods I don?t think you can beat a hi-lift.
