So I am washing my truck... (8 bucks at the car wash then home to hand wash) and aside from the plethora of scratches (which I was expecting and I am sure most will come out) what do I find?

A DENT! Where or when did this happen?, I don't remember hitting anything? Driver side front fender right up by the edge, looks like I hit a tree or something....

Still investigating.

It is not a big dent, you can hardly see it, the mud covered it right up. More of a character trait now. :)

Oh well, When is the next trip? :D

So I was looking at old pictures for reference and I think I see it on my truck prior to the trip.

Still don't know how I got it but I don't think it happened on the trip, did anyone happen to notice it before we hit the trials?

What do you think? Insurance claim and use the money for more mods? Or no? :)

Let's see damage, I backed into a tree, idiot, and bent the hanger for the tire carrior. That's already fixed.

My half shaft was making all sorts of grinding and clunking sounds. That's already replaced. I have several spares.

Lasly, somehow my air line to my locker pulled out and hit the muffler and melted in two. I have not gotten to that yet.

Oh, and a half hour on the pressure washer, tons of mud on the driveway.

Damage..hmmm..
Alternator is making a different noise now, will swap it out at autozone when I get a chance. The bearings are probably starting to go.
Just a few more scratches on the skids and sliders.

Your not one of those people at Autozone or Pepboys that works on their ride in the parking lot?

BTW: I have one of FRS I will give it back on the 22nd.

How about a wheel with a hole in it? Huh? Yea, I'm the winner! :)

Sorry, Mike, didn't notice it before or after actually. And yes, I would do the whole insurance thing!

I have a daily driver, so the truck will sit in my driveway without an alternator until I get back from Autozone or if I'm really desperate then I'll throw in the spare alternator so the truck isnt laid up.

The only thing I change in the parking lot is the bulbs for my neon, and my 12" chrome exhaust tip.
Just ask Brandon. ;)

Got back from the dealership. Blaine said there is no way that would be covered under warranty because of the dent before the crack. He says that shows that something hit it, not because of a defect in the material.

But he did say I could leave it with him until friday when they have a Nissan Tech there. Of course he'll say no. But I'm hoping some idiot will throw it out or something then they have to replace it. :)

I had seen the first two before. The $50 one he wants $100 to ship it though

There is also this one.

I thought about buying the 4. Replacing the bad one, replacing the spare and selling the other 2 and the spare to get some of my money back on them.
