Glass was replaced via insurance so I did not need to go into my pocket (except to tip the guy). Diamond plate would have cost and I would have had to install it.

Glass has lasted this long, over ten years on the trails, and free with insurance. Who knows...diamond plate could have pulled off in this situation and you would still need to glue it back in.

Besides, he has room for new stickers. :D
