Gremlin Graveyard, MA Location The Officers and Supporting Members of NEXTerra will be hosting another dual location Off-Road event on January 9th, 2016 at Rausch Creek Off Road Park in Pennsylvania and at Gremlin Graveyard in Massachusetts. This thread is for the run at the Gremlin Graveyard, MA location. The thread for the run at the Rausch Creek, PA location is HERE. When: Saturday, January 9th, 2016 Meeting Time: 9AM. Leaving for the trails at 9.30AM. Meeting Location: Walmart parking lot 100 Charlton Rd, Sturbridge, MA 01566 It is off Mass. I 84 and Rt. 20 Wheeling Location: Gremlin Graveyard Event Fee (Covers the land use fee for Gremlin.): Supporting Members: $20 Non-Supporting Members: $30 Payment: Cash at the event or Paypal (paypal@nexterra.org) accepted. Waivers: All attendees (drivers & passengers) must sign and hand in the NEXTerra waiver (open HERE). Please print it out, sign it, and bring it with you the day of the event. Details: We will be wheeling on private property that we have access to through the North East Association of 4Wheel Drive Clubs (NEA). Unless you are with NEXTerra you will be trespassing, therefore all attendees must be registered members of NEXTerra and be signed up to attend. It will be cold, with snow & ice - dress appropriately. Gremlin Graveyard also has lots of stumps & potentially mud depending on the season. The run in the dry is stock friendly with several harder obstacles & hill climbs for the modified rigs. Conditions change with the weather & although we will do our best to keep you & your rig from damage, it is possible. Skids & sliders are recommended but not necessary. Make sure your rig has at least one frame mounted recovery point. Airing down will be mandatory for this run (recommend running max at 20psi). There's a gas station near by to air up. Your fellow wheelers may offer you their air-up equipment at their discretion, but do not expect it. Snow & ice make things exponentially difficult (especially ledge & hill climbs). Shirts: There are 3 options for event shirts this year. They are: Long Sleeve (S-XL): $25 Long Sleeve (XXL +): $30 Sweatshirt: $35 (all sizes) Hooded sweatshirt: $40 (all sizes) If you would like to order one of these items, please post the following information: - Your Screen name - Name - Item, size and amount - Method of payment The cutoff time for this will be Thursday, December 17th, 2015 when the order will be placed with the printer. No charges will be made against the person sending or the person receiving. If funded by a credit card: Please add an additional $1.75 onto the total. Our PayPal email address is paypal@nexterra.org. Attention Attendees: The main trails at GG are rated Green but have rocks and stumps in the trail Making them Blue rated in spots that will damage running boards ,side steps and mud flaps. so please have them removed prior to the run if you are wheeling your stock height Rig. we want everyone to enjoy the trails as much as possible with the lowest threat of any trail related damage. Thanks Ernie |

Dec. & Jan are just a ducky time of the year for me. It's yachting and duck hunting for me, as it's the best time of the year especially if we can get some snow. 8-9 months of the year wheeling is king but not during late duck season. Scott |
