Just got home....
The trip down took close to 7 hours due to the snow. At one point, in the stretch of about 3 miles, I saw at least a dozen accidents on my side of the highway, including a tractor trailer that was completely off the road, on its side, 3 multiple car accidents and at least 5 other instances of cars being off the road...

So, it was an interesting start.

Saturday morning, we were all at RC and ultimately got on the trail by just before 8:45a. The snow came down most of the day and it was cold and raw, but all told, it was a great day. We had about 24 trucks in total, with 5 of us doing the blue/blacks and the balance doing blue/greens.

I'm not sure of the final carnage report, but I know of a skid plate that took a ding from a 30mph hit and my trashed u-joint when I got hung up on a rock (and ultimately needed a fair amount of help from Mikhail and Pasha and a yank from Kyle to get off of).

Overall, it was a great day of wheeling and we covered a lot of ground. We wheeled hard and made it out at the end of the day. Dinner at O'Neils was good as always and my drive back was far less eventful...

What a great time! Thanks guys for showing up. I was very impressed with all who attended and actually wheeled your trucks! Lots of folks talk the talk but you MF?rs walk the walk. You are all exactly the type of people the Officers and Supporting Members of NEXTerra want participating on this board and in this club.
No posers among you.
I sincerely hope that all of you continue to check in, use this board and stay active in this club so that together we can build it into a force that can possibly help protect our hobby here in the Northeast.

A special thanks to Jerry (Fubar1217), Sean (CDM) and Bryan (Rook) for each leading a Green Group in very tough conditions. You guys are the best!

Congratulations to Aaron (Selbysolger44) for winning the

Raffle (Dave pulled his name out of a hat with all of the drivers names).

Please post up your comments.

Please post your pictures HERE and don't forget to enter the Exposure picture contest HERE.

Maybe...
The thing that really annoys me about the whole thing is that I was able to get out of the first rut without the yank that I thought I'd need.. Only to get myself into another stuck position that would have taken too long self extract from.

But, being yanked off of rough position on a black trail, in the snow is not too bad.

oh... and for everyone else, I needed to be yanked because I snapped my synthetic winch line and, as a result, needed another line to help me off.

Wow looks like it was an Awesome day Tom.
I'm sure the Snow added quite a challenge to all those rocks.

The snow made everything more interesting..
Some of the trails that I know that I've done relatively easily were much more of a challenge yesterday.
