Man, I hope we survive the 60 degree weather.

It’s a pretty big change from the last couple years. When the high temp was in the single digits.

Last year, there was so much crap frozen to my wheels, I had to stop on the mass pike and chip it off with a screwdriver.

You guys really didn't need to refund. You could have kept it as a donation. Thank you.

How was it??

Great day of wheeling, nice warm temps compared to our usual NERs. Thanks for everyone who came out.

Apparently I ended up taking way fewer pictures that I thought I did. I have some videos, I’ll post later.

I have a few variations of the same pics, if you want more of your rig or higher res ones, I might have a few.

So, this guy was one of 9 rigs that wheeled in MA. And its of course Ernie/bas4runnerwith the gigantic tires:

Hey guys need to bail this time! Bears in the shop both my manifolds let go again, won’t get back until Monday. This is second time first time warranty covers this time out of pocket $1400.00 Ouch which leads to a question? Has this happened to any else? Also could whacking the muffler potentionally have weaken the manifolds? Oh well, comes with the territory. Anyway have fun be safe and I will see you all in April. Thank god for the rainy day fund.

Does a crack in my windshield disqualify me from the run? About 10" and growing at 1" per day. Somehow, every single glass company in Mass is Safelite (Giant and JN Phillips are both owned by them) and they can't get to me for 10 days!!

So, yeah, am I allowed to come still?

Also, anyone recommend a NON-Safelite mobile auto glass company?

People are breaking axles, and popping tires, and bringing non registered vehicals and even stuff that could never be legal to these events. So.....think your good.

Unregistered vehicles can’t drive on the road or public property. There’s no restriction on unregistered vehicles when on private land (eg. GG).

The rules enforced are common sense rules - no leaks, safe to wheel vehicle, no drugs/alcohol, wear seatbelts, etc.. In addition, if on public property such as OFR or MaBell, your rig also needs to be registered.

Final decision on who can wheel at the event are always at the discretion of the run leader or any Nexterra officer/Events committee member.

In definition...a cracked windshield is a cracked windshield. Flexing, and bumps will make it spread more, especially with the cold outside vs the heat inside. Definitely would not worry that the windshield is going to hurt the driver, but depending on the different directions the cracks go, could unfortunately impair the drivers vision.

Bit of a moot point as a) the run is over and b) the windshield is repaired
