Recap

The Shocker Run Quattro was a huge success! The run at Rausch Creek drew 37 trucks and over 45 attendees! We had 6 trail groups tackle the foggy, wet trails of Rausch Creek taking on, green, blue, black and purple trails until the sun went down. There was some minor carnage and plenty of recovering done. Everyone did a great job of helping each other out and performing some ?on trail? fixes to get almost every truck home under its own power. ABS lines, valve stems, oil pumps, power steering lines, tires, and shock mounts were all victims of the R.C. trails, but nothing that could damper the spirits of the GPAX members from having an awesome time on the trails.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made the trek to Rausch Creek, especially those who traveled far from Illinois, Ohio, New York, and Virginia! Thank you to everyone who purchased the bad ass Shocker Run Quattro hoodies, they look great!

We would also like to thank our Shocker Run Quattro sponsors, WeatherTech, K&N, PRG Products, Xoskel and Hi-Lift!

March 2010

The snow is gone, but the chilly weather still remains! Mods are piling up and everyone is eager to prepare their rigs for a busy spring and summer. GPAX is ready to help modify your trucks and lend you a hand in safely and working on your truck. Take the next month or two to double check all your fluid levels and consistency as well as the tightness of your vehicle?s nuts, screws, and bolts on all of your suspension components. It is never a bad idea to check your truck regularly for anything out of the ordinary. ?Safety First? is my motto and anyone who attended the Shocker Run knows how I can ramble on about that.

Supporting Member Dues

GPAX supporting member dues are going to be due by May 15th 2011 into the beginning of 2012. Any dues paid prior to May 1st 2011 will be pro-rated for the 2011/2012 supporting member year.

Kudos

To Dan White, our Sponsorship Coordinator, and Jerry Chao, our former Co-Sponsorship Coordinator, for their hard work getting some great sponsors for the Shocker Run Quattro and also for our future GPAX events. Also a large thank you to our Vice President, Jason Katz, and our Secretary, Brandon Kennedy, for organizing the trail groups for the Shocker Run Quattro! Without their organization skills the event could never have gone so smoothly.

Thanks to our newest supporting members, Brad McGoldrick and Stephen Benecke! Brad & Stephen are both Pennsylvania residents and we thank them for their support!

Go GPAX!
