I finally had a minute to order my Firestik flagstiks today. I spoke to Rick jr.

I ordered a white 3’ one along with an HD spring and stud for the Xterra. To match it’s 3’ white Firestik.

I ordered a 9’ white one for the camper. They have an option now to have the longer ones made in 2 pieces. So it’ll be a 5’ base with a 4’ extension. It costs a little more to buy them that way, but they can send it in a 5’ tube, rather than in a 9’ tube. He said it saved me $60 or more in shipping costs.

Some flagstiks are available online and in some CB and communications type stores. Generally their 5,6, or 9’ long and tend to be hi vis yellow or orange, and black. It’s tough to find them in white, and impossible to find them in 3’ or as a two piece 9’ stik.

I caught them about 15 minutes before they closed for the week. He said I was the last order of 2018, since they won’t be open again till Wednesday the 2nd. So he gave me 10% off. I’ll post some pics once the flags and poles are delivered.

John, I'm glad you worked with Rick - he and his family are great people, and have always been very supportive of our events and club.

Is that Race Point Beach?

Rick was great to work with. He was incredibly helpful when I was emailing him back and forth earlier in the year., and so helpful over the phone. I just saw the charge from Firestik on my credit card yesterday. I’m getting excited.

The process was on hold on my end. Yearly my wife tells me I’m banned from buying myself anything at the end of October sometime. Because a couple years in a row I bought something that she was getting me for Christmas.

The beach in that picture is Naucet beach in Orleans, MA.

Nothing since 2019, shamefull.
Are the recent modifications "on the down low"?
I have a few updates and pictures from a friend of ours but would really enjoy some details.

Definitely on the down low. For the moment. Once I get some wheeling time and a few minutes I’ll add the ‘Xterror’ build to this thread.
