Post subject:  Primer's X the mod bug is back!!!

Intro Comments: After about 3 years of wheeling and a bunch of runs the mod bug is in full swing. I have the majority of things that I wanted to get done now its just time to wait and save up for the more expensive mods. My next major goal is 4.10 gearing and front and rear ARB air lockers.

I'm about 45 minutes south from Newark I live down the road from the seaside boardwalk that just burnt down. That sounds good I could go for a mod day in the future it just takes me a while when it comes to the relays and switches and I lose my patience. That was a fun run those Toyota guys are fun to hang with. And their raffle was amazing I was falling asleep after the 2nd hour

How is that wired in ? Is it into the hatch wire or can you turn the led on and off?

It didn't come out as bright as I hoped but its enough to see what your doing. Its more of an accent light, and the flash over powered it. I did plan on it being a little dim so I ran it with 12 gauge so I can throw up more as needed. I ran power down the driver side pillar and tapped power from my cb in the drivers side footwell for now till I wire the blue sea fuse box.

Are these switched on separately from everything else?

Post subject:  Re: Primer's X updated with some new lights

yep I wanted to use it whenever, it ran it off a constant power line from the battery. I found another light that is a little bigger and brighter and fits into the stainless look. Im going go to the West Marine flagship, they have a wall of LEDs that you can test to see their brightness.

You ran a wire from the back switch to the battery? I'm sorry for the stupid questions in trying to do this for my friend.

I did the same thing sorta on my fj. I put 55w back up lights on the roof rack and ran the wires up front. Figured ill do the same thing for him.

Thanks for the ideas.
