I think a couple of you may have contacted SLR recently. If so, which # did you call? The one in CA has been changed, though the operator message does give you a new #....and I haven't been able to get through to the customer service # in AZ. Everyone says that calling them is your best bet....maybe my timing just sucks, as it usually does

I was hoping to ask them a few questions, and possibly place an order soon.

I'm gonna send them an email in the meantime...

Sorry, Erik, I have not called them since the move. If you get in touch with them, let us know how.

I thought I heard that they were moving, but wasn't sure. Anyway, if you dial the old number on the bottom of the website for their place in California, the message gives you the new number, which is 909-421-0255.

I just talked to Spencer for quite a while, and so far I am extremely impressed with SLR.

So now I have to ask a favor of you guys with CO2 in advance....could I bribe you to fill my tires up each day at ECXC??...since now I won't be able to afford my own CO2 setup :)

I'll be all rigged up by then too, my custom bracket is getting made.

What did you buy from them?

Awesome! thanks guys! I appreciate it!

I took the plunge for the econ line suspension lift and also their full steering system minus the idler arm shaft.

Dang... The way the dates are stacking up, and the recent update on my order status, I see this playing out either one of two ways:
A) I don't even get the lift/steering in time for ecxc
B) I back out on the Whispering Pines trip and spend the last weekend trying to install everything and praying that it all goes smooth, otherwise I could be detained from ecxc.

I guess there's always after work & sick days...assuming everything is here and there is even enough time before the 15th to get that in. :freak: Well, I did take off on the 18th too, but thats really pushing the envelope!!

This is the last thing I wanted to happen...

i would say try and make sure you can get to ecxc, even if you don't have the lift on yet. hate for you to miss it!

lol...Everything lately has been in a pinch for me. I was just thinking-out-loud. It's not necessary for me to have the lift on by ecxc, it's just one of those things that I was looking forward to..oh well, we'll see. :)

it's crappy, but may work out...more importantly I'd say are the skid plates that I'm waiting on too, which if I'm lucky will get here the weekend before ecxc as well. I guess I can't really complain though. Worst case for the plates, if I should get them by the day I leave, maybe I could throw them in the X and bribe you guys to help me out with them down there....maybe?

ah...the best-laid plans....
