Thank you Captain.

Patience is always a good thing to bring with you to a trail run. Take your time, expect others to do the same. Saves wear and tear on your rigs.

OK, here's a good one (or at least I think so). I carry a spray bottle filled with water and a few old washcloths. It's great for a quick clean-up on the trail, especially if you stop for a snack or need to try to wipe the fried chicken off your face.

Now, here's the best part: At the end of the day when you go to air up, and you're staring at those mud-covered valve stems, just whip out the spray bottle and hit each stem with a few shots of water to clean them off. No worries about contamination of your valve cores with mud & dirt.

I like that idea!

Something that came in handy for me last weekend wheeling was a small tape measure. Jon knocked the toe out pretty good on his alignment. We measured the front and rear of the front wheels and adjusted his tie rod ends till we got it close enough to not chew up his tires on his ride home.

Haha nice thread revival. I just replaced mine from a local fire specialty distributor. Managed to pick up a broad that worked there, but it was short lived. She left a hairbrush in my X, which I then used to scrub the black off my black hands after OFR before we went out for dinner. Everything happens for a reason lol

Best post -EVER.

From that little run we had, i saw you do this to my valve stems, i now carry a water bottle whenever i go wheeling, such a great idea and it's very effective.
