An FRS radio is what most of us use to communicate on the trails and it helps ALOT. A CB is also very useful to have...depending on if anyone else in the group has one.

Tire pressure gauge
A full size spare
Food/Water are always a good thing to have
Don't forget some practical tools
Camera is a must!!
Boots are helpful, maybe a change of clothes

That's a good list to start with. You don't need to go wild to start with but as you get into it, you will see more of what you need. An FRS or CB radio is important.

I bring tons of tools: sockets, breaker bar, box end wrenches, adjustable wrenches, hammer, pliers, dykes, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, and others.

Tow strap (with no hooks), tree saver, extra D rings, pull block, and gloves.

Something to air down your tires and tire guage, on board air.

Spare parts, half shaft, torsion bars, plastic ties, duct tape.
:D

A change of clothes, socks and shoes is always good..Especially if you get stuck in the mud and you gotta get out and put a strap on your rig...Oh yeah don't wear your sundays best either there's no one there to impress unless your trying to pick up a deer or something..;)

don't forget extra batteries for flashlights, especially when your in the woods, and extra flashlight would be good too, if its winter wheeling...i bring a blanket, extra jackets, hoodys, shirts, pants, because you never know if you might have to make a night out of it if something happens...cell phone charger, power inverter

Should make this into a sticky.

I ALWAYS have a change of clothes and blankets. I should start bringing some paper towels.
