Someone else asked that on thenewx, Anthony. Having seen the Shrock bumper on some next gens, I think that middle piece could be tucked safe behind the bumper, rather than resting on top of it. That's how some of them are now.

The grille is just plain ugly and the lights molded like that reminds me too much of a Liberty.. :thumbdown:

:( What happened to every thing you need nothing you don?t. The Xterra is going the way of the Pathy; I can?t understand why Nissan doesn?t learn to just keep it strong and simple. I?d never get anything but a 1st gen (sorry 2nd gens) and would most likely get a (gasp) Rubicon if I got something new. :roll:

They took what ruggedness (is that a word?) that was left and made it to smoothe....I prefer the look of the first generation X over the 2nd generation and beyond,I'm not saying the 2nd Gen.X is ugly or anything,I just think the first gen.X look better.
