Not sure if anyone has seen this on XOC yet but something definatly worth investigation for everyone's safety. Wonder if Nissan will do anything to correct the issue.

It's an old problem. I welded gussets and plating to my old ones. I have yet to get to it on the new LCA's, but I made the parts.

Scott,
Is it worth my finding a set like you did and doing the same - possibly swapping them out over the winter? I haven't noticed any cracks, but then again, I haven't really looked too closely. However, I'd rather be prepared than surprised.

Changing out the LCA's is a bitch. I welded up my up my old ones right on the truck. I have made the parts, but have yet to reinforce the new ones.
