Voting for the Gold Glove Awards is done by managers and coaches from all 30 teams who submitted their votes by the end of the regular season. Votes are cast for the best defensive player at each position in each league, except in the outfield, where the top three defensive players are selected regardless of position. Managers and coaches can only vote for players in their own league and can't vote for their own players. Three out of four infielders this year are Yankees;
1B Mark Teixeira, Yankees #2
2B Robinson Cano, Yankees #1
SS Derek Jeter, Yankees #5

ROBINSON CANO WINS SILVER SLUGGER AWARD
Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano earned his second Silver Slugger Award on Thursday.
Cano led all American League second basemen in several offensive categories including, hits (200), runs (103), runs batted in (109), home runs (29), and slugging percentage (.534). His career-high 109 runs batted in 2010 led all major league second basemen.
