Was this just plug and play?
From the electrical/wiring side, plug and play yes, didn't even need the included decoder.
BUTThe way the heat-synch sits inside the bulb locking collar, WOW, I went through a lot of gyrations to actually get it installed.
Really wish I took pictures of that process! But it made me have bad thoughts and use curse words, pictures were the last thing on my mind, now in hindsight however.
Some issues:
There is not enough room to work in there!
The old fixtures had a wire bail type retainer that would not fit around the heat-synch.
The new glass/fixture has an updated plastic twist-lock type retaining collar, which is a must have, IMO. Still in the end, the ONLY way to get things to fit was to remove the heat-syncs, install the bulbs in the new fixtures, then re-install the heat-synchs (which required drilling one very small and inconsequential small hole in the plastic ring to reinstall the grub screw that hold the heat-sybch to the bulb), then install the whole thing in the vehicle. \Luckily I had ordered new glass fixtures at the same time as the bulbs, so I was ale to troubleshoot all this on the bench and not in the parking-lot.
Oh, and side by-side it blows away the stock lighting of my wifes BMW. So much so she has directed me to order the LED's for her car....
