Here is a shot of the water line in the front floor you can see the lighter carpet above the line.

Here are a couple pics. of one of the self modified/blown rod ends.

After taking the old engine apart again I found out why it died on the highway.
There was one piece of connecting rod still sitting up in the engine when I put it back together on the trail.
Once we got going down the highway it vibrated out of it's spot and the crank caught it and threw it into the engine block and cracked the cyl wall.
the coolant mixed in the oil and that was it. :cry:
If I had seen that one piece It might still have made it home under it's own power. :bang:

I don't think so, Jessie has that look covered with his Beast.
I just have to move the intake up and away from the front.
the air box was modified for water but the whole box went under water past the air cleaner, so there was no chance of survival on that one.

Congrats on fixing the truck!! I was thinking about a snorkel also after that happening to me (not blown engine) but got close... and then seeing it happen to yours it was kind of sickening

Yeah luckly I had the x-tra engine handy, but my spare parts inventory is getting low now.
