Here's a receipe the guys seem to really like
2 to 3 Tablespoons Bacon grease (yes, that's right!)
Use 1 to 2 lbs of bulk sausage ( I use Jimmy Dean's in the roll packs)
2 Tablespoons Flour
2 Cups of milk
Salt & Pepper to taste
Roll of biscuit dough (cook the biscuits a head of time or make home made biscuits ahead of time as well)
First cook the sausage in the bacon grease drippings until the pink is nearly out of the sausage.
Second, add two tablespoons of four and mix in well. Shut off the heat.
Third, in another pot heat the 2 cups of milk until very warm (do not boil!)
Slowly add the milk to the sausage/flour milk and turn the stove burner back on to cook at a slow medium heat allowing the mixture to cook slowly and it will become thick!
When the sausage milk mixture thickens (watch carefully so it doesn't burn) you can pour the mixture over to already baked biscuits.
Enjoy your meal.
