I'll pencil this in as a possible if my leafs show up in time and I can get them installed. I should do a bunch more work to the rig but bear minimum to wheel is the new leaf springs.

I'm in too. I've never been. Each year something has always been scheduled on the day of this run.

It's a helluva a time. You'll love it. Ma Bell is pretty tricky in spots. And by "tricky" I mean Suresh usually breaks something and Ernie almost goes over backwards.

If all goes well I'll be able to give the re-gear (410s) a good test - install the week of 5/30.

Expect to sign up shortly after getting her back.

Hopefully I can make it.
Still tinkering with the Jeep - trying to get my new HD tie rod & drag link to play nice with my steering stabilizer (aka, chasing some interference issues).

Just wanted to let everyone know that we're waiting for additional feedback from clubs that ran the Summit property this past weekend. Initial reports indicate that the stock side of Summit has been logged extensively & as a result, what used to be the stock trails are now much harder to wheel.

Based on the feedback we get in the next few days, we may be forced to upgrade the difficulty rating for this run to avoid unnecessary damage to our more stock rigs. The run could end up being a hard modified run (Wheeling experience, full skids, sliders, aggressive tires, lift & tolerance for dragging over rocks/ruts/stumps etc.).

Please stay tuned for further updates. I will update this thread with more info this week.

Thanks to Ernie/Bass4Runner's walkabout at the property we have confirmation on conditions.

Good news is that the stock side is still stockish....it's harder than before but doable in a stock rig with skids, sliders & a careful approach.

If your rig is stock, you'll need to have a full set of skids & sliders to the the stocker side of Summit. Blue & harder/modified side will be a workout, your rig/you will need to be suitably equipped.

Everyone who has signed up so far, have rated themselves as blue & up. Assuming you rated yourself/your rig correctly, all those who signed up should be ok.
