I should be able to make this event. Is it wheeling on Saturday only, or will there be wheeling on Sunday too?

Mostly likely just Saturday. Of course if there are people that want to wheel both days, that's fine too.

I'd be up for just Sat or both days. It'll be my last run of the year, so I can start breaking the buggy down to redo a bunch of stuff...

For the first time in I don't know how many months I finally did a little work to my truck!!! I'm starting now to get things ready for this run. I'm extremely excited to go to a real offroad park again, not to mention ecxc 06 was pretty much my last outing.

I didn't do anything major, just some routine maintenance that I've been neglecting. Oh, and I finally got a good battery so I can install my winch.... I picked up an optima red top today :)

Anyone else planning on staying at a hotel?

If we end up staying overnight we'll probably stay at the ComfortInn in Pine Grove, if there's room, unless everyone else is staying at another location...

Just letting you know, a couple of us will be staying at the KOA Twin Grove campground in Pine Grove, PA (about 10 mins from RC).

They have heated cabins, and very nice facilities.

I'm looking into attending,I'm not 100% sure, but I should know hopefully by this weekend if I will be able to.

If I go I'll probably look into a hotel.

Anthony, do you know if they are able to accommodate a fairly long truck/trailer combo? I'm thinking something close to 40-45ft long...

Thanks, I read all about the campground, but my girlfriend would prefer a hotel. I can't say that I disagree with her.

The Comfort Inn is very nice. Breakfast (waffles, cereal, juice, coffee) is from 7-10 each morning in the lobby, and I think the beds are very comfortable. Mention you're going to Rausch and the rates start around $50 or so...

I would stay away from the Colony Lodge, unless you have no other choice. They are very nice there, and cheaper, but the rooms are a bit run down...

Thanks for the info zeeto! I've stayed at the Comfort Inn near Paragon once or twice and it was really nice there.

How far from Rausch is the Comfort Inn in Pine Grove? I'm guessing it's not too far if the campground is only 10 mins away and that is also in Pine Grove.

10 minutes tops...the Comfort Inn is about 500 feet from the southbound exit on 81, right behind the McDonalds.

Comfort inn is a great choice with the Rausch discount. (I believe $59/night)

Ho-ho-ho. I'll be there, can't wait to flex my new lift at a real park!

Any interest in a toy donation as well? We can bring 1 unisex toy a piece and donate them to a charity after the event. It would be a nice philanthropy for UNYX.
