Time for a club friends & family dinner!

On January 28th at 2pm we will be meeting at the Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse for a family & friends dinner.

No wheeling..just a chance to get out of the house and hang out. Also a nice chance to bring the friends and family who don't usually make it to our off roading runs!

Who's Coming

1. Micah (mpm) 2
2. Scott (dagger) 2

4. Sarah (whitenblue)
5. Dan (vengeful)
6. Eric (TeamCNY)
7. Tim (Agent Boost)
8. Nancy (Nancycpt21)
9. Greg (WilsonX) 4

Directions from Rochester:

Take 490 East to the Thruway (Thruway exit 45, mile marker 351).
Head east on the Thruway to exit 39, Rt 690 (mile marker 290),
Take 690 East for 8 miles to exit 11, West Rd.
Get off on West and go to the first light, Fayette St.
Turn Left on Fayette and go to the 2nd light, S. Franklin St.
Turn Left. The Dino is a couple of blocks down on your Right

Directions From Albany

(From Albany to Rochester, just stay on 90 west and
follow the Syracuse-to-Rochester directions)
90 West to Exit 34A (which leads to 481)
481 South to 690 West (for approximately 6 miles)
Get off at West Street
At your first light, make a left on Fayette Street
Down two lights, make a left on Franklin Street
Down three more lights, the Dino is on the Right

Directions From Binghamton (I-81 North)

81 North to 690 West
Get off at West Street
At your first light, make a left on Fayette Street
Down two lights, make a left on Franklin Street
Down three more lights, the Dino is on the Right

DBBQ has good food. We might a problem with getting enough seats, last I knew they didn't take reservations....but it's been a couple years since I ate at one.

I'm sorry, Sarah, the first 20 times I read your post it says you've never eaten there....but the more I read it...the more it still says you haven't eaten there.

How can you live out there and never have eaten at a DBBQ?!:bs::o

That is one thing I wondered about..that place is always busy. Maybe if we called them we could make reservations for a group.

hahaha.. the closest one to me is in Rochester i do believe.. i dont think there's one by me in Buffalo..

but dont worry- i will not spoil my surprise, i will wait until this meet to eat at DBBQ for the first time :)

lol, yea there isn't one in Buff. But Rochester isn't all THAT far from you. But like you said, now you have to wait to go.

Yeah and the NYC one is in Harlem. Have fun getting around all the yuppies who took over down there. BTW Michah, thanks for the FYI on the speedies. Ordered a bottle of sauce to try out but the timing for BBQ outdoors is hard with Daylight Savings now.

Dino is pretty good (as a roc native) but now we have a few more BBQ joints that have popped up around town giving dino a VERY good run for its money.


but you know ill be there fella's. mmmm, ribs.......
