Well, we made it. At least I hope we all did. Ernie had some issues with his rig and I am hoping he made it home o.k. :?

Mtdewmike managed to go check out the walk a little early, but he made it to us before we hit the trail. So now he has no excuse not to go to the walk. He knows where it is....:D

It was a good turnout and the rain held off all day. :2236:

I want to thank you all for coming. Jeanette had a great time. So far we have raised $370 for Autism Speaks! Keep it up guys. There is still some time until the walk. Let's see if we can reach $500!!:woohoo:

Here are a couple of pics from the day...

I'm getting the rest put on a CD from the 35mm, so I'll post those when that gets done.

Great pics Joe!!!!

I had a great time today and the fact it was for a cause made it better.

Tell Jeanette it was a pleasure to meet her and we wish her the best.

Hopefully we can do this every year. Which we will. ;)

Oh and the food was great. Wheelin' and great food = good times.

Mike and I had a great time today too.
I'm glad that so much was raised today too.

It was a great idea to do this and I'm in to support it for all following years.

That picture of Mike's jeep is outstanding - even if all you can see is the winch

What was the last status of Ernie?
I felt bad leaving while we still had a guy down, but Mike needed to get to Springfield on time to pick up his step-daughter, which he probably just made.

He made it to the truck stop and did a little more work on the rig. Ruebarb was going to follow him as far as he could towards home. I felt bad because he wasn't able to enjoy the food. He was too busy tearing apart his rig. :(

Sweet, glad you guys had fun!

I think when our club does something like this...we should try and get some attention in Newspapers and the such. Showing that there are groups out there that are responsible and do care about things.

Yeah I agree Jeff. This was sorta thrown together on short notice. But hopefully next years event we'll have better time to try and get something published..
